She's back! Magnitone Barefaced Review

Wednesday, 1 March 2017

Oops, it has been a while since my last blog post. Let's just say I have been busy testing products and hair regimes (when really, other than starting a new job, I haven't been up to much!) Anyway, best get straight to my first product review...

People often tell me I have beautiful skin before literally begging me to divulge my beauty secrets.

Well, maybe that's a lie. If they did beg, I would tell them I have been using Magnitone's Barefaced! facial cleansing brush.

Magnitone London BareFaced Vibra-Sonic™ Daily Cleansing Brush - Rose Quartz - £70
My Thoughts...
 Clearer Skin
After using this product twice a day for the last 3 months, the appearance of my skin has improved dramatically. I am always conscious of pores and blackheads on my face and in particular my T-zone.(perhaps due to my trypophobia - don't google it!). This cleansing brush has really helped deep clean my skin and yep, you guessed it - has helped minimise my pores and keep my face clear and flawless.

I know no-one else cares about me and my face but I always feel like the ugliest minger when my face is all spotty. I used to full on break out across my forehead every few weeks. Now, I can go months with only a few spots making an appearance here and there. Unless I sleep in makeup (blame Drunk Naomi) my skin stays clear. During the day, I go Barefaced! with no need to use foundation or concealer to hide blemishes. For me, this definitely is a key benefit.

RRP £70 - This brush is definitely more of a luxury skincare product. However, I have often seen it on offer with a discounted price across multiple online retailers including Amazon and Lookfantastic. I paid £40 for mine and being that I purchased a limited edition colour (as above) I am pretty pleased to have found such a bargain!

Active Clean Replacement Brush Head 2 Pack - RRP £16

However, it is recommended that you replace the brush heads every 3 months - so there is an ongoing cost to consider. I recently stocked up on a pair of Active Clean brush heads for about £13 from Boots - so I got another great deal considering these usually retail at £16. With additional specialty brush heads available for sensitive or blemish-prone skin - the Magnitone Barefaced! brush caters to a range of skincare needs.

Top 5 Features
In short, what do I love most?
  1. It's waterproof!
  2. Battery power - one charge lasts me at least 4 weeks with twice daily use.
  3. Timer - ensures each "zone" of my face and neck is cleaned to perfection.
  4.  Size - fits nicely into my hand and feels quite robust. I have no fears it will break any time soon.
  5. Two cleansing modes - The standard setting is great for light 'in-the-morning' cleansing and the Pulselift™ Toning Mode is perfect for deeper night-time facials that help my skin absorb my favourite night cream.

So yeah, I would recommend this brush to anyone looking for a skincare treat that actually works. Feel free to comment below with any questions or your own thoughts on the Magnitone Barefaced! facial brush :)
